The Chalon blog is our scrapbook - or magazine -
compiled to feature a broad mix of articles that we
think our website visitors will find of interest. The
articles within have been curated to reflect our
interest in architecture, interiors, design, food &
drink, and all of the things that might possibly make
our house and home live up to our own dreams of what
it might be (and the Chalon kitchen that
we might have within it!) - and, alongside all of the
design and decorative items, we will post articles
that also feature Chalon's commitment to conservation
and the environment too. '
Christoph Hansil paints his way through 166 slices of a whole cut Mortadella, and not only that but each piece from front and back. In the end there are 332 paintings. The paintings are compiled into this lovely designed book with typographic cover.
English Oak Buildings’ design agency, The English Group, have produced our brochure along with other projects for Wild Europe and The European Nature Trust, producing a fund-raising book to help protect Romania’s old-growth forests in the Carpathians,. These lovely, ethereal photos seem right up their street – mist-filled forests, captured by brothers Andrei and Sergiu Cosma of PhotoCosma who live and work in Romania.
